Foreman

Job Role:

  • Must be able to supervise and lead crew to stay on schedule and maintain high quality work standards

Equipment Operator

Job Role:

  • Operate equipment depending on skill set and level of ability.  Skid Steer, Excavator, Lawn Mower, Lift, tractor, etc.
  • Willingness at times to perform duties involving shoveling, raking, heavy lifting and the use of multiple small tools.
  • Clean tools, materials and work areas
  • Must perform all tasks in a safe manner following all safety precautions
  • Clearly communicate with other crew members to ensure safety, teamwork and completion of daily goals

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have experience operating heavy equipment relevant to lawn care, landscaping, excavating, lifts/tree work
  • Valid drivers license & DOT card (employer supplied).
  • Must be able to work in outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies
  • Perform variety of functions such as dig, spread and level dirt, gravel with a pick or shovel
  • Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas
  • Must be a safety conscious individual
  • Be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Frequently lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)

Landscaper

  • Using a zero turn mower: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s Licenseand DOT card (Preferred)
  • Work authorization (Preferred)
  • Here’s what you’d do:
    • You’d create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties.
    • You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.
  • You’d be responsible for:
    • Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
    • Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damaged branches
    • Planting and maintaining flower beds, and applying mulch
    • Picking up trash and debris
    • Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
    • Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers

Salesman

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Develops and owns client relationships.
  • Communicates directly with clients to ensure expectations are met.
  • Identifies, estimates, and presents opportunities for both new business and landscape improvements.
  • Partners with business development staff to achieve branch sales goals through referrals and generates sales opportunities within client portfolios.
  • Effectively manages and completes the client transition from the Sales Team to the Operations Team.
  • Ensures familiarity with each job’s specifications so that each account has a solid communication plan in place and that it is administered successfully.
  • Communicates with production staff daily on schedules for work on all jobs and assists in prioritizing work.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in operations, customer service, customer relations, or related field.
Skills & Abilities Qualifications:
  • Must be able to attend after hours events when necessary (networking events).
  • Must demonstrate excellent accountability as this position has authority to initiate actions and make decisions within established guidelines.
  • Must be familiar with operational concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to identify and sell landscape improvements.
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to negotiate.
  • Must possess and demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate confidentiality.
  • Must represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Highly organized with great follow up abilities.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with adequate driving record.
  • Draw all designs pertaining to landscape, hardscape, lighting.
  • Create estimates and proposals.
  • Make initial site visit prior to, during and upon completion of project installation.
